A cover on a pool can provide some or all of the following:
- Heat Retention
- Solar Heat Gain
- Safety
- Cleanliness
- Protection
There is normally a requirement to have two covers; a summer cover and also a winter debris cover. The summer cover is fitted to a roller which can be manually or mechanically operated. The winter cover is oversized to the pool and is secured down to ensure it is not blown off when the pool is closed.
