National Leisure

National Leisure was created by a small group of forward-thinking, like-minded, independent pool companies in 1989. Cresta Chairman and Founder, Tim Bareham, was one of those founding members. The concept was to combine their buying procedures to secure better deals with pool trade suppliers. This has been extremely successful and the National Leisure group has grown to consist of 20 members throughout the country.

As an influential buying group, National Leisure is able to negotiate excellent deals with their suppliers. Members of National Leisure do not compete against each other – even if they happen to be in the same geographical area. Instead, they co-operate to share knowledge, ideas and skills in a policy of continuous improvement. As members of National Leisure, Cresta Leisure is able to benefit from shared expertise across the group and source pool equipment at very reasonable costs.

For many years, Tim was on the Committee. Tim’s retirement has meant that his son Simon Bareham has stepped into his shoes and is the next generation to represent Cresta within National Leisure.
